Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain precise financial records, including general ledger entries, AP/AR, and financial statements.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements like the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of month-end and year-end closings.
ERP System Management (A2000)
- Operate and optimize the A2000 ERP system for seamless financial operations, reporting, and analysis.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data in the ERP system and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, analyzing trends, and conducting variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage GST submissions and ensure compliance with Singapore’s financial regulations, including corporate tax filings.
Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Manage supplier payments, track customer invoices, and resolve any payment discrepancies, ensuring strong vendor and client relationships.
Cash Flow Management
- Monitor and report on cash flow, providing forecasts to ensure operational efficiency and liquidity.
Inventory Costing & Management
- Liaise with inventory teams to ensure accurate stock valuation, record cost of goods sold (COGS), and prepare inventory reports.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Assist external auditors by providing necessary documentation and resolving audit queries, while ensuring compliance with internal controls.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant financial operations experience, preferably in an SME environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in A2000 ERP system is highly desirable; strong skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint are required.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and working knowledge of GST regulations.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
