Quality Analyst Internship
We are looking to hire a Quality Analyst Intern for a leading food-related company with a strong presence across the region and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange with over 30 subsidiaries across Asia, supplying to major distributors, leading retail supermarket chains, and well-known dining and restaurant groups.
Job Description
As a Quality Analyst Intern, you will assist in ensuring that our products meet rigorous food safety and quality standards, especially as they reach large-scale retail and foodservice partners. You will gain hands-on experience in monitoring quality throughout the supply chain, including production, packaging, and distribution to our clients in supermarkets, distributors, and F&B outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Support quality control checks across raw materials, in-process, and finished goods targeted for retail and restaurant partners.
Assist in reviewing and maintaining quality documents (SOPs, QA checklists, and inspection logs).
Aid in lab testing and microbiological assessments to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Collect and analyze data related to product consistency, shelf-life, packaging integrity, and temperature control.
Support quality audits and site inspections in coordination with key clients and distributors.
Help ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000) across the supply chain.
Collaborate with departments including Production, Logistics, and Sales to resolve quality concerns from retail and restaurant clients.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
Familiarity with food safety systems and standards is preferred.
Effective communication skills to work cross-functionally and liaise with external partners.
Eagerness to learn, a hands-on approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
