Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and commercially minded AI Solutions Associate to support business development and AI solutioning for Singapore-based clients.

This is a hybrid role combining client acquisition, consultative discovery, and solution scoping. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their business challenges, and translating those needs into clear, practical AI solution proposals for the delivery team to build.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys meeting people, asking thoughtful questions, understanding how businesses operate, and helping clients explore how AI and automation can improve their workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify target industries, companies, and decision-makers to build a healthy pipeline of potential clients in Singapore.

  • Conduct lead generation and outreach through LinkedIn, email, phone calls, networking, and follow-up activities.

  • Engage prospective clients to understand their business needs, workflow challenges, urgency, budget, and decision-making process.

  • Conduct discovery sessions to uncover operational pain points and assess how AI or automation solutions may support business improvement.

  • Translate client challenges into clear solution concepts, focusing on practical outcomes, ROI, and operational impact.

  • Work with internal teams to scope client requirements and shape proposals that are realistic, deliverable, and aligned with client needs.

  • Manage client relationships from first contact through proposal, sign-off, and delivery handover.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline records, client notes, follow-up actions, and deal progress.

  • Gather market insights, including common client challenges, objections, pricing expectations, and competitor activities.

  • Support the development of repeatable outreach, qualification, scoping, and sales processes.

Requirements

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.

  • Open to entry-level candidates; no prior experience is required.

  • Strong interest in business development, consultative sales, AI, automation, and digital transformation.

  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage clients professionally and confidently.

  • Proficiency in a second language such as Mandarin, Malay, or Bahasa is advantageous for engaging regional clients.

  • Comfortable with prospecting, networking, meeting new people, and following up with potential clients.

  • Able to listen actively, ask relevant questions, and identify the core problem behind a client’s request.

  • Curious about how businesses operate and how technology can be applied to improve workflows and productivity.

  • Organised and disciplined in managing pipeline records, meeting notes, follow-ups, and next steps.

  • Self-driven, resilient, coachable, and willing to learn in a fast-moving environment.

  • Basic understanding of AI, LLMs, or software solutioning is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Prior exposure to sales, business development, software scoping, process improvement, or founder-led/start-up environments will be an advantage.
